Floor Tile
Installation
Porcelain, ceramic, and natural stone floors set level, with even joints and a layout that actually fits the room. Bathrooms, kitchens, entries, and living spaces.
A Floor Is Only as Good as What's Under It
We install floor tile — porcelain, ceramic, and natural stone — from a single bathroom to a whole main level. We get the surface flat, plan the layout so cuts land in the right places, and set the tile so it stays put.
A bigger tile needs a flatter floor, and a pattern needs the cuts planned before we start. We measure the room, set the starting lines, and use the mortar and membrane that fit that floor.
Floors We Install
From a single bathroom to a whole main level — same standard on every square foot.
Bathroom Floors
Porcelain and ceramic floors that handle water, daily traffic, and the tight cuts around toilets, vanities, and tubs. We keep the layout centered so you aren't staring at a sliver tile at the door.
Kitchen Floors
Kitchen floors set around the cabinets and appliance bays already in the room. We plan transitions at doorways and leave clean cuts so the floor looks finished when everything is back in place.
Entries & Living Spaces
The first floor people see. We run tile through entries, halls, and open living areas with a consistent grid, and we set transitions where tile meets carpet, wood, or another finish.
Large-Format Tile
24×24 and bigger. Fewer grout lines, and a floor that has to be flat. We check the substrate and use leveling systems so edges stay flush.
Pattern Layouts
Herringbone, hex, chevron, and offset patterns. Patterns need a starting line and a plan for the edges. We lay that out before the thin-set goes down.
Wood-Look Plank
Porcelain plank that reads like wood, set in a staggered or stacked layout. We mix boxes so the pattern doesn't repeat in an obvious block, and we keep end joints from stacking.
Our Installation Process
We walk every customer through what to expect before we ever pick up a trowel.
Free On-Site Estimate
We come out, measure the rooms, and look at the floor we're tiling over. You'll get a written estimate — square footage, prep, and the work included. No guess from a photo.
Demo, If the Old Floor Has to Go
If there's existing tile, vinyl, or carpet in the way, we remove it and scrape the surface clean. If we find a soft spot or a bad patch, we stop and show you before we cover it up.
Flatten & Prep the Substrate
Tile needs a flat, solid base. We patch lows, address cracks, and use uncoupling or crack-isolation membrane where the floor calls for it. This step is what keeps grout from cracking six months later.
Layout & Setting
We snap lines, center the field on the main view, and set tile with the thin-set rated for that material and tile size. Large formats get back-buttered. Joints stay consistent.
Grout, Seal & Transitions
Grout is packed full and tooled clean. Natural stone and cement grout get sealed. We set thresholds and reducers so the new floor meets the next room without a trip edge.
Tile We Set on Floors
Bring your own tile or tell us what you're looking at. We'll match the setting method to the material.
Our go-to for floors. Dense, low absorption, and made for traffic. Available in almost any look, including stone and wood.
A solid choice for lighter-use rooms and tighter budgets. We'll confirm the tile is rated for floor use before we set it.
Marble, travertine, slate, and limestone floors. Beautiful, and they need the right mortar, movement joints, and a real sealing plan.
Tiles 15 inches and up. They need a flatter floor and a larger notch trowel. We flatten the slab and set them with leveling systems so the edges stay even.
Small tile and hex floors, including penny rounds in baths. More grout, more labor, and a surface that hides slope better than a big tile.
Wood-look plank, herringbone, and chevron. The layout is the job — we plan the repeats before we start setting.
Common Questions
Can you tile over the existing floor?
Sometimes. The old floor has to be solid, well bonded, and flat enough. If it's loose, cushioned vinyl, or badly out of plane, it comes up. We'll tell you which one it is when we see it.
Do you move furniture and appliances?
We'll talk through what needs to move before we start, and we'll shift light pieces out of the way so we can tile the full floor. We'll note anything larger — refrigerators, ranges, big furniture — in the estimate so the room is ready when we arrive.
What about doorways and other flooring?
We install transitions — reducers, T-moldings, or a metal edge — so the tile meets carpet, wood, or a lower floor cleanly. Door clearance is checked before the tile goes down, not after.
Is the work warrantied?
Yes. Floor tile we install is covered by our 2-year workmanship warranty. If a tile we set loosens or grout we installed fails, we come back and fix it.
When can you come out for an estimate?
Estimates are available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 10am to 4pm Arizona time. Book a time on the site and we'll come look at the job in person before we put a number together.
